We currently offer the following mediation training courses:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ead34c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ead34c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>40-hour Mediation Skills Training<\/h4><p>This comprehensive course, <a href=\"https:\/\/congressofneutrals.org\/index.php\/40-hr-mediator-training\/\">40-hour Mediation Skills Training<\/a>,\u00a0 is designed to qualify new mediators for our <a href=\"https:\/\/congressofneutrals.org\/index.php\/mediation-mentoring-program\/\">Mediation Mentoring Program (MMP)<\/a>, which affords participants the opportunity to gain actual experience mediating small claims, unlawful detainers and other cases in the Contra Costa County Superior Court. Since 2007, we have offered extensive mediation skills training specifically designed for practicing attorneys, mediators and arbitrators. These comprehensive trainings cover issues of confidentiality, neutrality and ethics, the mediation of disputes in special subject areas, cultural differences and the problems associated with bias. Issues involved in developing a successful mediation practice are also covered. All participants will have the opportunity to participate in roleplays.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dc3a9be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dc3a9be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>Mediation Mentoring Program<\/h4><p>Through its Contra Costa County Superior Court mediation program in <a href=\"http:\/\/congressofneutrals.org\/smallclaims.html\">small claims<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/congressofneutrals.org\/index.php\/unlawful-detainer\/\">unlawful detainer<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/congressofneutrals.org\/harassment.html\">civil harassment<\/a> cases, The Congress of Neutrals provides mediation opportunities for new mediators who have completed a 40 hour mediator training course, as required by the court.<\/p><p>The goal of the Mediation Mentoring Program (MMP) is to provide practical mediation experience under the supervision of experienced mediators.
